THE NEGROS CULTURAL FOUNDATION

The Negros Cultural Foundation was founded in 1987 by Agustin Montilla III. From the very beginning, the main aim and thrust of the foundation is to be of assistance in the field of arts and culture.

With the Gaston house, one of the dreams of the Foundation to establish a museum for Negros will be realized. The Foundation hopes to be a catalyst in the revitalization of the arts and other cultural activities in the region. In line with this, the Foundation is working hand in hand with the Silay City Government in an effort to restore Silay as the center of culture and arts, truly deserving of its fame as "The Paris of Negros."

The Foundation is officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, as a non-stock, non-profic, cultural corporation.
