Rotary clubs hold joint induction today |

Three Rotatry Clubs
in Bacolod City will hold their joint induction and
turnover ceremonies today at the
grand ballroom of L'Fisher Hotel with
Vice President Glorial Macapagal Arroyo as
guest speaker. Arroyo is an honorary member of the Rotarty Club of Bacolod East. To be inducted are officers of Rotary Club of Bacolod East, Rotary Club of Marapara and Rotary Club of Bacolod Central. Alfredo Bustamante III, incoming president of East, said he will replace Nelson Deles, while Marapara is replacing Joselito Jison with Nilo Lizares Jr. Rotary Club of Bacolod |
Central's
new president is Nanette Garcia, who will take over from
Alejandro Menghnani. The Rotary Anns of Bacolod East are also inducting Trinidad Bustamante as president, in place of Estrella Moran, a press release from the club said. Marapara is swearing in Nanette Lizares to take the place of Jean Montinola. The press release also said this year's thrust of Rotary International is poverty alleviation, provide humanitarian aid for the most disadvantaged people. Rotary International president is James Lacey.* |
