A mixed feelings of excitement and gratititude swept over
me when I learned was I chosen awardee of the President Ramon Magsaysay
Outstanding Filipino Worker Award for 1998. It was like an impossible dream
that suddenly became real. When I regained my composure, I uttered a short
prayer of thanks to God for the honor and privilege.
