THE CHAMBER IN BRIEF
| CHAMBER DEFINITION
MBCCI is a
non-stock, non-profit trade association of businessmen
and professionals that serve as the active catalyst in
the promotion and development of economic enterprises and
in the creation of a favorable business and climate in
Bacolod and Negros Occidental. YEAR ORGANIZED September
7, 1986 by twelve (12) multi-sectoral leaders, the
Chamber initially assisted in the preparation of moves
for the business community to survive the economic slump
brought about by the sugar crisis. MISSION To
actively serve as the voice of the business community as
a means of ensuring responsible representation of
entrepreneurs on all official functions of the government
and it instrumentalities; uphold the standards of
legitimate business; and, help bring about economic
progress in Metro Bacolod and the whole province of
Negros Occidental, leading to a better quality of life.
